WHAT IS BARRE?
Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements
WILDHEART BARRE - HEARTBEAT:
This class is full body, high energy but low impact! We start by properly warming up the body and move into Barre, center & floor work with cardio blasts. We always finish our HEARTBeat classes with a little core. Be prepared to sweat, work your entire body and get that heart-rate pumping!
WILDHEART BARRE- BUNS BUNS BUNS
This lower body focused barre class will help strengthen joints and muscles, and effectively target your legs and core. We will start with center warm-up and cardio blast after that it’s all in the legs! Exercises throughout class will be completed at the barre and on the floor. Be prepared to feel that burn!
WIDHEART BARRE- UPPER BODY SWEAT
This class focuses on creating stamina in the body. We move through a full body workout using light hand weights to target the upper body and challenge your balance. Exercises are completed in the center, the floor and at the Barre. Be prepared to work your mind and body in this class!
WIDHEART BARRE- FULL BODY BARRE
Exactly what it sounds like! A little arms, a little cardio, a little buns. Working our bodies and minds from head to toe!
BALLET BARRE WORKS:
We offer this class every on Sundays (currently paused with social distancing in effect, but it will come back), it is a full body workout done ballet style. We use the barre to support us through basic ballet exercises choreographed to energizing music. This workout will get you moving, sweating and mastering the art of Ballet. Strengthen and lengthen muscles, build grace, musicality, flexibility and a love of dance. Suitable for all ages and levels, graceful or not!
